Blues Guitar Riffs

Add To Your Bag Of Licks

On this page you will find some popular blues guitar riffs to learn and use at your next blues gig.

Having a big bag of licks at your disposal while improvising gives you more ideas to play and experiment with.

Learn a few at a time, always practicing with a metronome or a drum machine, until you are able to play it smoothly and cleanly. Then come back and tackle a few more.

To start off with, let's learn a few blues turnarounds you can use to spice up your playing.

The 1st and 2nd turnarounds are both in the key of E
