Free Guitar Chords

Increase Your Chord Vocabulary

Hi, and welcome to the free guitar chords page here at Guitar Lessons Central.

Do you want to someday be a great guitar player? If so, then it is a good idea to always try and learn a few new chords every week. They can add spice to your playing and at the same time, make you sound like a more experienced player.

It's good to learn your basic chords first if you are a beginner, and then every week choice a new chord, study it, experiment with it, and add it to your vocabulary.

If you did this every week, after a year you would have quite a few chords under your belt.

It's also smart to learn these new chords in every possible position on the neck. Being able to play chords anywhere on the neck gives you greater freedom and flexibility when trying to improvise as well.

Here is a explanation so you understand how to read the chord diagrams.....
